Women’s World Cup win serves as inspiration for young soccer standouts

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – As bars erupted in cheers, two soccer players from Savannah watched the Women’s World Cup inspired by the American’s historical run.

Erin and Lauren O’Hearn won soccer state championships at St. Vincent’s Academy and now play college ball together at Furman. The sisters spent Sunday morning at Savannah Taphouse with their family to watch the United States beat Netherlands 2-0 in the Final.
