In 2017, Ware County’s hopes of a 5A Region 2 championship fell short when the Gators fell to Wayne County in the final game of the regular season.
The Gators now find themselves in the same position against the same team. Friday night, Ware County and Wayne County will battle it out for a region title live on WSAV.
