STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – Football fans across the Coastal Empire won’t need to wait until August for Friday Night Lights to make a comeback.

The Georgia Southern Eagles are shifting their annual Blue-White Spring Game to Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

That game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, but was moved due to the threat of thunderstorms.

For the first time ever, the Blue-White game will be broadcast on ESPN-plus. It will also air over the radio on 106.5 FM in the Statesboro area.
