If you’d like to adopt Soldier, Ozzy or Bud, you can find them at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah on Sallie Mood Drive. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday. You can find more information on their website at www.humanesocietysav.org.
Meet Soldier! He’s a 9-year-old hound, retriever, Labrador who loves to run and play. He’s great with children, adults and other dogs. Soldier is house trained with an understanding of some commands. He’s also up to date with all of his vaccinations.
Warning–this Perfect Pet Pick of the Week contains lots of puns.
If you don’t want a dog barking at the moon, consider this rock star. He’s no prince of darkness. But Ozzy would love to shed his fur in a new home and shed “no more tears” in the shelter.
The 2-year-old is ready to hop off the crazy train and say “I’m coming home.”
Puns aside, Ozzy is very friendly and likes to be around people. He would do better in a home without small children and other pets.
If you’re looking for a new bud, consider Bud!
He’s a favorite among the staff at the Humane Society. You can’t tell from pics, but Bud really loves to snuggle! He also enjoys a good sniff around the yard.
The 9-year-old terrier/pit bull mix has lived with children and loves the shelter’s snuggle buddies program where kids come read to him.
Bud would prefer to be the only furry buddy in your home.
