SEABROOK, S.C. (WSAV) – Another presidential hopeful is heading to the Lowcountry in the coming days.
On Monday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is bringing her campaign to Beaufort County. According to her website, she’s hosting an “organizing event” at Whale Branch Middle School (2009 Trask Parkway).
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. event. It’s open to the public and tickets aren’t required, but attendees are strongly encouraged to RSVP online.
A few days before Warren’s visit, candidate Beto O’Rourke, former representative for Texas’ 16th congressional district, is heading to Bluffton for a meeting at H.E. McCracken Middle School.
Warren has been serving as the senior senator in her home state of Massachusetts since 2013. She’s among nearly 20 Democrats who have thrown their hats into the ring with a campaign or exploratory committee.
