RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV) – Children visited the Richmond Hill Public Library Wednesday to take part in the magic of celebrating what would be Harry Potter’s 39h birthday.

The event was hosted by the library as well as the City of Richmond Hill.

“If anybody hasn’t read the books yet, try reading ‘The Sorcerer’s Stone’ and maybe you’ll like the series entirely,” said Julia Steele, a proud Ravenclaw member.

Mayor Russ Carpenter also took part in the festivities and read an excerpt from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
