From the archives: WSAV newscast from September 11 attacks


It’s been 19 years since the September 11, 2001 terror attacks that brought down the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Hijacked planes also rammed into the Pentagon and a Shanksville field.

Throughout the day, Americans turned to their television screens, computers and newspapers to find out more about the tragedy.
