WATCH: Early morning Wilmington Island boat fire

WILMINGTON ISLAND, Ga. – Early Sunday morning fire fighters worked to put out a boat fire on Wilmington Island.

Crews arrived to the scene at Sassers’ Lee Shore Marina behind a Publix shortly before 6:00 a.m. Crews worked for more than an hour to put out the fire.

Savannah Fire, EMS, Savannah Chatham Metro Police and Georgia Power are currently on site.
