Its a fun event with an important cause, all in honor of a very special little boy.
William Webb was just 4 years old when he passed away last year after a battle with Neuroblastoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer.
His memory lives on through this weekend’s Warriors for William 5k.
His parents goal, to raise money. All of which goes right towards finding a cure and saving another child’s life.
“We’ve been really surprised that people still remember him, people still talk about him which makes us very happy that he hasn’t been forgotten,” said Danielle Webb, William’s Mom. “That to me really speaks volumes for the type of kid that he was, and the impact hes had on the cancer world, and to us as parents thats important to keep the movement going to help find that cure we are all looking for.”
The Warriors for William 5k is this Sunday at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.
Remember, come dressed as your favorite superhero!!
