SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Savannah Chatham Metro Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on I-516 just west of Montgomery Street around 6:45 a.m. on Dec. 19.

The accident resulted in multiple injuries and caused multi-lane closures on I-516 for about two hours.

According to a preliminary investigation, Shannon Hubbard, 25, was traveling westbound on I-516 in a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado about 6:45 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the median and entered the eastbound lanes.

A 2014 Toyota Corolla that was driven by Khairi Law, 23, and traveling eastbound struck the Silverado. The impact sent the Corolla into the right lane, where it struck a 2001 Nissan Altima driven by Kareem Murray, 41.

Hubbard, Law and a passenger in Law’s vehicle were treated for serious injuries. Murray was also treated at a hospital for injuries.
