Tybee Island traffic: Bull River Bridge reopens

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Bull River Bridge has reopened to traffic, according to the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD).

The bridge closed down around 8 p.m. for “an accident,” and reopened an hour later.

Further details on the cause were not immediately released.

This follows a busy Labor Day weekend. Traffic patterns were implemented early on the island to control the influx of travelers.
