SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Chatham County Police announced a portion of 204 that was closed Friday morning has been reopened.
Police closed eastbound highway 204 from Veterans Parkway to the Forrest River bridge.
According to the Chatham County Police the closure was in support of an incident being handled by the Savannah Police Department.
.Officials say there was no danger to the public and no timeline for the road to re-open.
