SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a Monday morning crash that resulted in serious injuries.
SPD says that around 8:20 a.m., a Honda Odyssey being driven by 59-year-old Katrina Parker was traveling on Commercial Drive when the passenger side of her car was hit by a scooted in the intersection at Hodgson Memorial Drive.
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of the scooter, 35-year-old Richard Hall, “disregarded the traffic light,” causing the crash. Hall was thrown from his scooter and suffered serous injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
