Hilton Head, SC – It is the last day of the pro am rounds before the RBC Heritage kicks off, and the weather is already a factor. Golfers were stuck with battling strong winds as they picked up in the afternoon. Jason Day had this to say about the weather conditions, “We’re going to have pretty tough conditions as the week starts up here starting tomorrow.” On the other hand, Matt Kuchar spoke on the last three holes, “Once you get exposed on 16, 17, 18 it’s a tricky couple of holes coming in.”
Day, who is the number one golfer in the world, will be making his fifth appearance at the RBC. Day says “It’s always fun to come back to this place because we’re just so used to long golf courses where you have to hit drivers all the time.”
This year, there have been some changes made to the course, adding new greens, which means new challenges. However, the golfers do feel as if they are prepared, just coming from the Masters.Watch more in the video above.
