Team Lowcountry knocks off Team Georgia in Blitz Border Bowl


The 2nd Annual Blitz Border Bowl featured some of the area’s best seniors and it certainly lived up to the hype. After four quarter’s of explosive plays, Bluffton’s John Swinton ran in a touchdown with 30 seconds left and Jonathan Orr knocked in the extra point to give Team Lowcountry a 35-34 win over Team Georgia.

Trey Pusha (Thomas Heyward) hauled in three touchdown grabs on his way to being named the Blitz Border Bowl MVP. West Virginia commit Winston Wright exploded for nearly 200 yards receiving and three touchdown catches of his own.
