Since the shooting on campus that killed a student last month at Savannah State University, security has amped up.

Mandatory ID checks, escorts across campus, and hundreds of security cameras are just some of the new security features the campus added.

Students say they see the added security measures the school has put in place. They think they’re the right steps to be taken, but they aren’t sure how much good they’re actually doing.

As one student put it, if someone wants to get on campus who shouldn’t be, they’ll find a way.
