Savannah Police investigating Yamacraw Village shooting as homicide


SAVANNAH, Ga (WSAV) – Detectives are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a 32-year-old man Thursday night in Yamacraw Village.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD) around 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a shooting at the 400 block of W. Bryan Street. When officers arrived, they found Travis Eady, 32, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Eady was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

SPD’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
