SAVANNAH, GA – Hard work and some demolition is taking place this weekend in west Savannah.
Members of the Savannah exchange club are getting down and dirty demolishing a home soon to be restored for a new home owner thanks to the local Habitat for humanity branch.
We’ve shown you several times where the coastal habitat for humanity welcomed a new home owner into their home. For members of the exchange club, working this weekend is a good way for them to take a minute and give back.
“Well we see so many things, negative going on around the world but what we can do is just change the world one family, one life at a time,” says David DeWitt of the Exchange Club.
The local habitat for humanity is having information meetings this upcoming week for those interested in becoming a part of the habitat family. You can call the habitat office at 912-353-8122 for more info.
