Rape Crisis Center Pearls of Power Gala

There is something special about the power of women in Savannah.

The Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire held it’s pearls of power gala.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness month ,and this gala brings attention to the many services available.

It’s also an opportunity to shine the light on women who are vessels of hope for

our community.

The honorees tonight are Artist and Gallery owner Tiffani Taylor

and Molly Lieberman Founder and Director of Loop It Up Savannah.

Molly is inspired by this organization.

“So many friends and students of mine family members of my students family members of mine have been affected by horrible tragedies that happen in our community and so I just appreciate so much the work that the Rape Crisis Center does.”

Survivor Brittany Brett a SCAD graduate shared her personal story and her hope for the future of rape prosecutions.

Proceeds from tonight’s gala supports resource and advocacy services.
