The U.S. Department of Justice reports that issues present in a child’s environment are often a catalyst for bad behavior. Failure to make friends at school or poor academic performance can often be the cause of juvenile delinquency.
Registration is now open for the ‘Be the Change Savannah’ Youth Summit- a volunteer-driven youth advocacy group.
The organization work to ensure every young person matters by building resources to inspire, educate, organize and advocate for youth.
The summit takes place Saturday, January 16 from 9 am to 5 pm at the West Broad Street YMCA.
The event is free to all young people ages 11 to 16.
