Savannah Metro Police are investigating a shooting that happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday in the Whitaker Street parking garage. Police spokeswoman Michelle Gavin says four people were shot inside the parking garage after fighting at a nearby night club, Club Rain.
Gavin says there was an initial fight that broke out within a group of people, after leaving Club Rain. There were 911 calls received from several areas surrounding the club as the fight continued, such as East Bay Street and Bull Streets, where there is still a police presence. The fight culminated in the Whitaker Street garage, where the shooting happened.
Police have detained two people, and weapons. There is no word yet on whether police are searching for others. Gavin says the four injured sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
