Bluffton, SC- The Low Country Volleyball Club open teams, 13 and 17 age divisions have earned a bid for the 2016 USA Junior National Championship.

This is the club’s seventh and eighth time earning a spot to Nationals in 19 years, but the first time for the club to send two teams in the same year. These girls have been training since November for two days a week. However, with Nationals only a few weeks away they have increased their practices and conditioning to three days a week.

At the National Championship, the Low Country teams will have the chance to compete against girls from all over the United States who are the top of their region. They will face competition like they have never seen before.

The Open 13 Coach, Priscilla Kelly said, every match they play will be like their hardest match they played all season.

For most of the girls, this is their first time competing at a national level. As they hope to walk away with a win, they are also excited to learn from the experience and improve their skills.

The two teams will leave for Nationals in Indianapolis on Friday, June 24th. The 13 open team competes June 26th-29th, while the 17 open team competes June 29th-July 2nd.
