Young artists share ‘Migration Stories’ during Deep Center’s Block by Block Artist Showcase

Every artist has a story to tell.
This weekend, Savannah’s Deep Center will host “Migration Stories: Deep Roots of the Collective.”
It’s a performance of its Block by Block program featuring some of our areas most fearless and talented high school authors and adult artists.
Trent Alexander, a rising senior at Groves High School, is one of them.

Yamacraw Performing Arts Center
Doors open: 1 p.m.
Performance: 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Refreshments: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Free and open to the public

Deep will release this year’s full-color 200-page anthology featuring the writing and artwork of participants in the Block by Block program for sale for $25.
