West Chatham Middle School’s M.A.L.E. Dreamers celebrate mentors

West Chatham Middle School’s M.A.L.E. Dreamers mentorship program has played a role in molding young men in our community over the past four years.

This morning, the organization hosting its last club meeting for the school year.

Members discuss real-life situations concerning character, integrity, scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.

News 3’s Kim Gusby served as the guest speaker.

She shared some of the challenges she faced while pursuing her dreams and encouraged the young men to make good choices and focus on their goals.

Kim also received this year’s Good Deed Award– in recognition of her community service and humanitarian contributions.

M.A.L.E Dreamers was established in 2016 by Dr. Robert R. Jordan, Jr. The M.A.L.E. in M.A.L.E. Dreamers is an acronym for Motivated, Aspiring, Leaders, of Excellence.

M.A.L.E Dreamers is a mentorship program geared towards exposing young men to various opportunities they may not have the chance to experience every day.

The goal of the organization is to prepare young men mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually to go out into the world and be the best version of themselves.
