SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Two suspects are now in custody in connection to a homicide at a Savannah motel.

Police say Emanuel Harvey and Alexis Brown killed Bhikhubhai Patel, the manager of the Stallion Motel on Ogeechee Road, Sunday.

Both suspects were taken into custody in McDuffie County, west of Augusta. Harvey was arrested Tuesday on an unrelated warrant by the U.S Marshall Southeast Fugitive Task Force. Brown was arrested Thursday by the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office.

Both are charged with one count of Felony Murder.

In a police report obtained by News 3, a motel employee says Patel’s body was found inside a room. Patel was lying on the ground with a white cord tied around his ankles and was naked from the waist down.

At last check, the motel is temporarily closed. The owners are asking people living there to leave by Sunday. It’s not clear when they plan to reopen.
