A man working with a tree service in Savannah fell to his death Monday.
Around 11:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene on the 2000 block of E 59th Street (off of DeLesseps Avenue).
The worker, identified as 39-year-old John Gallovitch, was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Gallovitch was working for Expert Tree Services. According to their website, the business deals in tree removal and trimming.
The Savannah Police Department, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and EMS responded to the accident.
Family members say his funeral service will be held at Gamble Funeral Service on Stephenson Avenue.
