Talmadge Bridge reopens after police respond to person in crisis

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Officers closed down the Talmadge Bridge early Friday afternoon to respond to a person in crisis, according to the Savannah Police Department (SPD).

The bridge was closed down in both directions for approximately two hours as emergency crews responded.

SPD says the individual was talked down safely and is now getting the help they need.
