Savannah fire crews put out blaze on Gray Fox Way fire, suspect arrested

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Fire Department (SFD) responded to a fire in the 10400 Block of Gray Fox Way Monday morning.

Officials say crews were dispatched to the home around 2:30 a.m. and were able to extinguish the blaze. SFD says heavy smoke and flames were seen in the home’s roof.

SFD says a suspect was charged with arson.

The suspect threw their spouse’s clothes outside and set fire to them during a fight.

SFD says the flames from the burning clothes reached the home causing the fire.

No injuries were reported.
