Need a little inspiration to work out, want to make new friends, or just eager to try something new in 2019? The Savannah Derby Devils can get you rolling.

The roller derby league is rebooting its recreational program starting Sunday, March 3. Interested participants can meet at the Garden City Gym, 160 Priscilla Thomas Way, at 2 p.m. Skates, helmets, and other protective gear will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants are required to provide their own mouth guard.

The recreational league is open to adults 18 years old and older. There are two training pathways: fitness-focused and competitive. Those interested can pick which they would prefer. The fitness pathway is open to all genders. The competitive track is open to those falling within the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s Gender Policy
