SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Nine Line Apparel in Savannah has created a new shirt design in Sgt. Kelvin Ansari’s honor.
Savannah Police Sgt. Ansari was killed in the line of duty on May 11th.
“What has happened really strikes very close to our hearts. Nine Line Apparel is a huge supporter of our law enforcement and first responders especially in our community,” said Amanda Herring.
All of the proceeds from the shirt sales will be given to Sgt. Ansari’s wife and children through the 200 Club.
“We hope this shirt honors Sgt. Ansari’s memory and honors his legacy and his life. He was a US Army Veteran, which is also very close to our hearts. We are huge supporters of the military and law enforcement. He was both. He was a true wonderful American and what we want people to think of when we look at this shirt is wow, that is someone I aspire to be,” said Herring.
The shirt design can be found here.
Herring tells News 3 the shirt will be up for sale through June 3rd.
