VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) — Police in Georgia say they rescued three women who were being held against their will in a motel room over the weekend.
Valdosta police said in a statement Monday they responded to a report that a group of women weren’t being allowed to leave their room. Lt. Scottie Johns added that the caller heard cries for help.
Officers said that when they arrived, they heard banging on the windows and shouting. News outlets report police forced their way in and arrested 39-year-old Michael Hudson.
Investigators say Husdon was visiting one of the women when an argument awakened the other two and he held them in the room.
Hudson is charged with two felony counts of false imprisonment. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney who can comment on his behalf.
