Netflix joins ACLU to fight Georgia’s abortion ban

Georgia News

Netflix is promising to help the ACLU fight the recent abortion ban. Since Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the law, several producers and actors are refusing to work in the state.

Others, like filmmakers JJ Abrams and Jordan Peele are continuing to make their HBO show “Lovecraft County” in Georgia, but they said they will donate all of their “episodic fees” to organizations fighting the law, including the ACLU.

Netflix says it will rethink its position if the law goes into effect on Jan. 1.
