Evacuation ordered after train derails in Georgia town

Georgia News

Some residents in a small Georgia town have been evacuated after a train derailed Sunday night. Emergency management officials in Bartow confirmed hydrochloric acid spilled from some of the cars. An area church opened their doors as an evacuation center for those ordered to leave their homes.

It is not clear how many cars have derailed. There have been no injuries reported but hazmat crews were on the scene late Sunday evening.
