One woman was killed and two others injured in a shooting outside of a graduation ceremony in Clayton County.

Police say the shooting was sparked by an argument in the parking lot of Mount Zion High School Friday night. The lot was being used as overflow parking for the Perry Learning Center’s graduation ceremony.

Shots were fired just as the event was ending.

One woman died after she was shot three times in the chest. In addition, a 21-year-old victim was shot in the leg and a pregnant woman was injured when she was pushed in the commotion.

Two people were arrested Monday in connection with the shooting. Police have yet to release their names.

The high school is located in Jonesboro about 20 miles south of Atlanta.
