Family of missing Bulloch County man wants answers about his disappearance

STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) –  It’s been four years since one Bulloch County man was last seen.
Now his family is asking for your help to solve a case that’s gone cold.

Mark Waller’s last known location was at a house party in Ellabell back in 2015. Witnesses say they last saw him leave that party and walk down the road. However, his mother Marilyn Cooler said that’s part of the story she just doesn’t believe.

“I don’t believe that because Mark never walked anywhere. He would’ve called momma to come pick him up, I know that and he didn’t,” Cooler said.

After Waller’s disappearance Cooler said she and her family spent weeks looking for him. Searching the woods and even underneath some houses. The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office searched as well and followed up on countless tips, both finding nothing. Now cooler says she just wants the truth that’ll help put this case to rest.

“Get some closure. I don’t think he’s alive. I really don’t. Matter of fact, I can swear he ain’t becuase my son would not leave his children or me. He was a momma’s boy and he loved his children to death. There’s no way,” Cooler explained

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to solve this case and get the family the closure they want.

“For anyone with any information in regards to where Mark Waller may be or what happened to Mark Waller to come forward and give us that information,” Investigator John Quattlebaum said.

Anyone with information on this case can send the tips in to the Sheriff’s Office social media or call 912-764-1785.
