Halloween came early Saturday afternoon for some furry friends throughout the Coastal Empire.
Dogs and their families gathered in full costume for this year’s Wag-o-Ween Festival.
Those on four legs had the chance to trick or treat at more than 100 vendors and businesses in downtown Savannah. This year’s event is the thirteenth and biggest yet.
“I’m baffled. I still can’t believe it has become this,” said Sara Portman, the event’s creator.
Proceeds from the event go to Coastal Empire Pet Rescue and the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.
