The director of the Rape Crisis Center (RCC) has stepped down.
Kesha Gibson-Carter served the role for five years, leading the organization’s effort to provide resources and advocacy to rape and sexual assault victims.
“[She] had a passion for the RCC and an unwavering commitment to assisting and supporting victims of sexual assault,” said Lynne Wolf, President of the Board of Directors of the RCC in a press release.
The search for a new Executive Director is underway, according to the RCC. The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council will be assisting the center with resources in the meantime.
