Groves High School students are doing their part in the fight against breast cancer.
For the third year in a row, the Beta Club raised money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in order to make a donation to the Mary Telfair Mammography Fund.
This fund helps provide free mammograms for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Beta Club officers were able to present a $450 check to Marti Barrow, director of annual giving for St. Joseph’s/Candler Foundations.
The club raised money through selling breast cancer awareness items and from a ‘pink out’ dress down day.
