Community invited to Savannah Kwanzaa celebration

The Savannah community is invited to a Kwanzaa celebration hosted by the Kwanzaa Observation Association. 

Starting December 26, the first three nights will be marked at Tompkins Community Center at 2319 Ogeechee Road, and the last four will be at the Mary Flourney Golden Age Center at 101 W. 39th Street. Each night’s celebration is from 6 to 8 p.m.

This year’s theme is Observing the African Principles. There will be entertainment, culture, speakers, and honorees. The last night is a public feast.
