Community Corner: Shelter from the Rain gives hope to single mothers in need

Being a parent is no easy task– and when you’re on your own, it’s even more of a challenge.
So, how do successful single parents keep it all together? 
With lots, and lots of support.
In Savannah, one local organization is doing all it can to help single moms survive and thrive.
Jennifer Graham is the founder and Executive Director of Shelter from the Rain— a community outreach program for single mothers.

Pantry Pal Program: In need of volunteers July 19, 2018 to help in the Pantry and Diaper Bank. Please email: for details and location.

Savannah Bananas League Night Fundraiser: Saturday, August 4th | Tickets can be purchased online at: | We also need people to sponsor our families to go to the game. Tickets are $15 and include all you can eat food and drink. There will also be fireworks! 

Mothers With Mentors Mentorship Program: Those interested in being Mentors, email: Mentorship Training will begin in August.
