One local author wants parents to know that every child has a unique learning journey.
Sonja R. Scott is the author of Ikio Learns to Fish
It’s her first self-published childrens book.
She joins us with more.

Sonja R. Scott is an educator, motivational speaker, youth minister, and entrepreneur. Her children’s book, Ikio Loves to Fish, is geared towards helping students understand that while everyone learns differently, everyone can learn. Sonja’s ultimate goal for her learning book series is to partner with schools, non- profits, and community groups in order to deliver book readings, metacognitive workshops, and fundraising opportunities for non-profit organizations.
