In an effort to improve bike lane visibility, the city is testing out a new, green feature.
Two types of green paint products are being tested to make bike lanes more visible and identifiable to traffic.
Green is used nationwide to minimize confusion with other standard traffic control markings.
The city is testing methyl methacrylate and thermoplastic paint products for cost, application, durability, maintenance and longevity.
The samples have been painted at the intersection of Lincoln and Huntingdon streets as well as Lincoln and Gwinnett streets.
According to the city, these tests are being done at no cost to them.
Bicyclists, motorists and the general public are invited to provide feedback on the feature.
To give your thoughts, visit the city website here. The city is accepting feedback now until May 18.
