CEMA issues statement on why sirens were not activated on Wilmington Island

CHATHAM COUNTY (WSAV) – We have received multiple calls and posts from viewers on social media concerning CEMA’s outdoor warning sirens not being activated during the tornado warning and actual tornado touch down this afternoon on Wilmington Island.
