CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) –  A search warrant was served to a woman in Candler County accused of holding hundreds of dogs in deplorable conditions, the woman was also arrested by Candler County Sheriff Deputies.

Candler County officials executed their search warrant on Angela Powell’s property located on Donnell Road. 

Sheriff John Miles said the warrant was to investigate the claims of animal cruelty on Powell’s property.

Powell was arrested and Miles said officers will have a presence on the property tonight and in the morning.
