Bomb threat prompts evacuation at Beach High School

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Students at Beach High School are back in class following a report of a bomb threat Thursday.

According to a spokesperson for Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, the threat was called into the office.

Students and faculty were evacuated around lunchtime as a precaution as officials searched the school.

Beach High is located on Hopkins Street off of the west end of Victory Drive.
