BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) – Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke will stop in Beaufort today.
O’Rourke will be taking part in a roundtable with citizens of the Gullah Geechee Nation at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
The event is set to begin at 3:45 p.m. and is not open to the public.
This is O’Rourke’s third visit to South Carolina since announcing his run for president. During his three day visit, he will also host a criminal justice roundtable in North Charleston, host town halls in Sumter and Greenville, attend church in Spartanburg and attend the Black Economic Alliance Presidential Candidate Forum in Charleston.
O’Rourke has held 15 events in South Carolina since launching his campaign in March.
