The search for a new school superintendent in Beaufort County is over. The Board of Education made a final decision at Tuesday night’s meeting.
Members voted to offer Frank Rodriguez the top job. He’s currently a regional superintendent in the Palm Beach County School District in Florida. He was picked over Terry Dade, Regional Assistant Superintendent in Virginia.
In a statement, Rodriguez said, “I’m incredibly humbled and honored by the board’s decision. I look forward to working closely with each board member and the communities they represent.”
School leaders tell News 3 they are still working on the final contract for Rodriguez.
