BEAUFORT, SC (WSAV) – The City of Beaufort announced Beaufort City Manager Bill Prokop underwent cardiac bypass surgery Tuesday.
Prokop is currently recovering in the hospital. He is expected to recover at home for four to six weeks.
Assistant City Manager Reece Bertholf is the interim city manager during Prokop’s absence, and will assume all of his normal duties.
