200 Mammograms in a day

Local News

October serves as a reminder women for you to get your mammogram.
Women choosing to take part in A Day for Mammograms sure did have a lot of support and encouragement today at Telfair Pavilion.
Once their screening was over they were greeted by sweet kids carrying handmade signs.
These little ones are from Children’s House Daycare at Candler Hospital
The overflow of love also included a beautiful rose for those who had their mammogram.
“When I saw these babies out here i got teared up, and when the little guy gave me the rose.
It just reminds me how precious they are and how precious it is to go and have your mammogram annually or whenever it’s scheduled,” explains Johnnie Mae Baker.
Early detection is the difference between life and death.
204 people in six different Savannah locations had their mammogram today.
