King Arthur Flour recalled over E. coli concerns

(WSAV) – Thousands of cases of unbleached all-purpose flour are being voluntarily recalled due to E. coli concerns. 

According to the FDA, ADM Milling Company notified King Arthur Flour Inc. that wheat used in their flour has been linked to an E. coli outbreak. 

None of the reported illnesses have been directly connected to the King Arthur product. 

The product affected is the five pound Unbleached All-Purpose Flour with these specific lot codes and Best Used by Dates:

  • BEST USED BY 12/07/19 LOT: L18A07C
  • BEST USED BY 12/08/19 LOTS: L18A08A, L18A08B
  • BEST USED BY 12/14/19 LOTS: L18A14A, L18A14B, L18A14C

This recalled product was distributed to retailers nationwide, including Walmart and Target.

Consumers who have any of these affected products should not consume them and should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for credit or refund.
